Short Description: The Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza A (HPAI H5N1) virus is a deadly influenza strain found mostly in birds in Asia and Africa; it is not currently a flu strain seen often in humans. It is, however, a deadly flu virus that the CDC considers a high potential to become a future pandemic. This course discusses the H5N1 flu virus and what businesses and individuals can do in the event of a pandemic or flu outbreak.

Instructor Description: This class is an independent-study course.  Students will have all the resources needed to successfully complete the course within the online material.  A student helpdesk is available for technical support during the course enrollment.
