Language: English

Short Description: Companies that innovate create new competencies that in turn lead to a sustained competitive advantage or a competitive disadvantage. This makes managing the innovation process a critical management task. Organizational innovation is the successful implementation of creative ideas. New innovations can lead to a technology cycle, which begins with the advent of a new technology and ends when that technology reaches its limits and dies. This course discusses the role innovation plays in organizations, and how new technologies emerge to become the market standards.
