Teach for Us

If you’d like to enjoy the challenge of teaching but don’t have the time for a semester-length commitment, consider becoming an instructor for short-term courses or seminars offered by New River Community College’s Department of Workforce Development.  We offer a variety of non-credit activities for area employers and the public, some of them taking only a few hours to complete.  If you’re a busy professional who could take an occasional day, half-day or evening to fill this role, we invite you to submit an application.  Or just give us a call to discuss one-time or occasional teaching opportunities.  Areas for which demand exists include customer service, small business development, Microsoft Office Suite, 3-D printing, world languages and more.  We’re also open to suggestions for topics not presently offered.
