Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW): Students will learn Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), also known as Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding. Students will develop the skills necessary to produce high-quality welds on various metals using this precision welding process. Emphasis is placed on proper setup and operation of GTAW equipment, tungsten electrode selection and preparation, shielding gas selection, and development of high-quality welding techniques in all positions.
